„Fröhlich in dir – gemeinsam glauben und beten in Europa“

„Fröhlich in dir – Gemeinsam glauben und beten in Europa“ ist der Titel des Gebetbuchs, das die Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa (GEKE) zum Auftakt des 500. Jubiläums der Reformation herausgibt.

Das illustrierte Buch enthält mehr als 40 zeitgenössische Gebete und Meditationen von Menschen aus ganz Europa aus dem kirchlichen oder akademischen Umfeld. Die Gebete sind in der jeweiligen Muttersprache der AutorInnen abgedruckt.

Zu den modernen Gebeten kommen neun „Alte Worte für heute“ aus der Reformationszeit, deren Sprache behutsam angepasst wurde. Die Materialien sind vielseitig verwendbar, ob privat oder im Gottesdienst, im Bibelkreis oder in einer mehrsprachigen Andacht.

Das ansprechende Bildmaterial stammt zu einem guten Teil aus den „Reformationsstädten Europas“, auch dies ein Projekt der GEKE zum 500. Jubiläum der Reformation.

“Joyful in you - Believing and praying together in Europe” is the title of the prayer book published by the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) to mark the start of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

The illustrated book contains more than 40 contemporary prayers and meditations by people from all over Europe from church or academic backgrounds. The prayers are printed in the authors' native languages.

The modern prayers are accompanied by nine “Old Words for Today” from the Reformation period, the language of which has been carefully adapted. The materials can be used in a variety of ways, whether privately or in a church service, in a Bible study group or in a multilingual devotional.

Much of the appealing visual material comes from the “Reformation Cities of Europe”, another CPCE project for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
