From Reformation to Communion: 50 Years of the Leuenberg Agreement

For more than two decades, Professor Martin Friedrich was responsible for the theological and ecumenical work of the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE).

In honour of his 65th birthday and as a contribution to the 50th anniversary of the Leuenberg Agreement in 2023, a selection of his essays and lectures from this period will be presented. The topics range from the history of Protestantism in Europe in the 16th to 19th centuries to the prehistory, history and ongoing work of the CPCE to Protestant contributions to the current ecumenical dialogue.
